What’s it about? It’s about working together to find ways to heal your hurts, fears, and unhealthy relationship patterns. It’s about utilizing the tools recommended in therapy to address your pain. The more transparent you are, the deeper the healing. I utilize brain-focused, mindful cognitive restructuring techniques for thought life, and we will discuss somatic interventions to help support the body’s healing process. It’s about telling me what hurts.

Hi, I’m Alicia Peterson

My education and experience include the East and West Coasts. I am fortunate to have worked with a wide range of disorders, both in private practice and in crisis stabilization units. I have a B.S. in Criminal Justice and an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy.

I am also a doctoral candidate working on writing my first scientific article, titled “The Efficacy of Mindfulness on Substance Use Disorder: A Systematic Literature Review.
